Up until the recent expansion of Major League Fishing, The Bassmaster Elite Series has been the highest form of competitive bass fishing. This week B.A.S.S. officials announced the scheduled stops for the 2019 series. With many familiar stops returning such as the season opener at the St. Johns River in Palatka, Florida, a fishery that has been included in the series 20 times since 1973. Yet also featuring new waters to the series such as South Carolinas Lake Hartwell, which has hosted a Bassmaster Classic but never an elite series regular season event. From Texas, to New York, Georgia to Oklahoma the 2019 Bassmaster Elite Series schedule puts anglers to the test at a variety of fisheries across the United States.
