Last weekend, we hit Otay Lake in Southern California for some memorial day weekend bass fishing. Evan and I got on the water around 6am. I fished with him until 3pm and he stayed on the water for the full day. We started the morning with a quick limit on jerk baits and drop shots and spent the afternoon tossing swimbaits and jigs, looking for a bigger bite. The swimbait bite paid off for Evan in the afternoon when he landed a 5lber. We will be back this weekend, searching for that giant.
