Everyday Angler: One & Done III

Here’s one from a few months ago before winter set in when the Fall bite was still going strong. Living on the water, I make an effort to get out and make at least a cast or two everyday. For a few days prior, I was throwing a 6” weedless swimbait with no luck. After awhile, I decided to downsize to the 4.5” Miyagi Swimmer from Beast Coast and it paid off. This bait is one of my favorites and stays tied on to one of my rods pretty much year round. At just under 5” it’s big enough to attract big and medium sized Bass. For me, it’s a confidence bait, I never really get that feeling of, is this bait too big? It comes through underwater vegetation nicely and has a beautiful, subtle action that fish can’t seem to deny. It sits nicely on a 6/0 Beast Hook and at roughly $12 a pack (4) they don’t break the bank. While it may seem like winter just started, Spring is right around the corner and I definitely recommend grabbing a pack or two in preparation for that pre-spawn bite we all look forward to so much. Check out the video to see it in action and if that’s not enough, head back to Everyday Angler: One & Done I to see another hawg that this bait produced.
